More About Us…
Helping Vets & Others: Our primary focus is helping our veterans and their families. How do we do this? Our Post Service Officer is available to help vets and their families with a variety of issues including advising them on a variety of benefits available. Additionally, we conduct numerous collection drives to support our vets and those in the immediate area. We also support the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home. Within the community, we award several scholarships annually to local high school students, support four Legion Baseball Teams, and annually sponsor/support the Legion’s Boys State, Junior Law Cadet, and Oratorical programs. Annually, we proudly recognize Law Enforcement and Firefighter/EMS Officers of the Year. During the COVID pandemic, we provided free meals to those in need, veteran or not, within our surrounding communities. We host an annual Red Cross Blood Drive. In the end, it’s all about service…men and women who’ve served our great nation and continue to do so as members of Papillion Post 32.
